You play as a detective taking on a re-opened case from about 30 years ago (Takes place in 2009).  You must reveal what they didn't 30 years ago in a mental hospital founded by a man named Stephen James.

Stephen James  was born on October 20th, 1958. He went to St. Patrick's University for 4 years studying psychology and mental health. He graduated in 1981 and then founded a mental hospital to do experiments on PTSD patients and grieving patients. Most of his experiments did good things for mental health as a science. He had a wife and a child, Daisy, his wife and Jaime his daughter.

In 1986 his wife was murdered by one of Stephen's patients. Stephen went into a depressive state and started doing inhumane experiments on his patients, including his daughter, Jaime. He was then declared insane and put in his own mental hospital.

He thought that Daisy was still alive, because he never got to the acceptance stage of grieving and continuously wrote letters to her that never got out. In 1992 he died of tuberculosis.

BUT BE WARNED! Re-opening this case is highly dangerous. The police have lost several agents and detectives in it, rumored to be mentally manipulated and tortured by the lost soul of Stephen and his daughter. But that's just a bunch of paranormal crap, Right?

...Right?

Separate note note from the developer: Hi! I'm writing this to warn you. In this demo there are a lot of sensitive topics, blood, and jump scares.  There is also a lot of bugs, (remember this is an unfinished game). There will be more demos in the future  and I'm only making a demo so people can test it out for themselves and I can get a little more detail on it. The story was based off the song "Daisy Bell" by Harry Dacre in 1892. If you want more detail on how the game was made, here is the video Devlog:

Hi there, I am DragonExplosion and I am a Youtuber. If you like my videos, please leave a like and subscribe at my channel.

Before I start with my comments, I just want to know if there is still more to uncover after the safe located at the end of my playthrough as I was unable to key in any numbers on the keypad or even get out of the keypad screen no matter how hard I tried.

This was a cool horror game where the story is based on a mental hospital with very intriguing and interesting stories of Stephen and Daisy. This kinda makes me wonder who is the main character that we are playing as XD. I believe that there were free game assets used in the game so it would be cool if all of the free assets were eventually changed to original assets if possible. However, it is not very important as the puzzles and the story of Stephen are the main elements pushing the game forward.

I really liked the pink room as well as the final location that I was stuck in. The creator of the game has made use of various horror elements to his advantage. The idea of bringing the player into a video-recording is definitely something that I really liked as well as the idea of using a bright and bizarre pink in a horror game. I also enjoyed getting extremely frustrated when I couldn't get out of the pink room and the journey of finding the mysterious safe. The difficulty of the game makes it enjoyable and frustrating for me at the same time.

Some issues I faced with the game is not knowing what were the controls of the game. I didn't know that "E" was to pick up items so you could actually see me struggle a lot in the box stacking room. I was also lost for a while as well at the start where I didn't know that I had the ability of using a flashlight XD. It would be cool if there was a way to pause the game and look at the controls of the game so that players won't face the same issue as me. The room where the Safe is was so difficult to find XD. It took me a long time but I think it is alright to leave such a secret for players to find the Safe room XD.

Thank you for reading my comment and I wish you good luck in your future endeavours.

Hey man, thanks for playing the game! I'm so sorry about that bug with the keypad. I havent watched your video yet, but I will in a bit and I will comment on your video. I do appreciate all the feedback I get for these demos, they do help the game progress.

I will make a tutorial level in the next demo, showing you all the controls. I am mainly focusing on story right now, and enviornments sadly have to remain made by free assets.I cant model and I sure as hell cant animate haha.

But yeah I really appreciate you commenting and making a whole video on my game! It really helps improve the game as a whole. I know its not the greatest, but it will improve. Remember I'm really just trying to tell a story. The bug fixing will come later however. I will fix ones that need immedeate attention.
